CHRISTMAS TIME!!

Christmas is here!! A time of love, sharing, family... and presents, fun, parties!!!

So, what do you do at Christmas?
Do you have big dinners with your family or with your friends?
Do you go out every single night?
Do you still sing Christmas Carols (Spa: villancicos)?

Tell me about what you do or what you are going to do at Christmas...

PS: I promise I won't tell your parents or Santa Claus!!

  1. At Christmas night, my family and I usually have dinner with my father's family (my grandparents and my uncle) in their house. At Christmas day, we have dinner in my house with them and with my uncles from Barcelona who usually come for that day. Sometimes my maternal grandma joins the party, but this year she won't. Big meals with my family are quite boring and they always speak about Zapatero (not Cristina, the other one), so I usually eat quickly and run to my bedroom to be with my lovely laptop who doesn't speak about things he doesn't know because, you know, he doesn't speak.
I don't usually go out during Christmas holidays. In fact I don't usually go out during the year, so there's no point in me going out now.
Will I sing Christmas Carols? Maybe at home. My sister loves playing carols CDs and if I'm happy I might sing. But as I'm not usually happy, I won't probably sing.
Oh, this comment is getting so emo...
What else? Oh, I'll watch the King's message and I'll hope he gets overdriven by a tractor. And I'll hate capitalism for not letting me travel to Ukraine for Christmas. When I've done that all, I'll head to Barcelona with my uncles and I'll spend there New Year's Eve and my birthday. That's important for me because I've already had 17 crappy birthdays here and I don't want another one. I'll come back to my village on 5th wishing it's Easter to escape to Barcelona again. And I think that's all. Well, maybe I'll get my lip pierced in Barcelona, but I still haven't decided that.
    Now it's actually all.

  2. Shit, for a moment I felt important.... Thanks for ruining it Mònica.. =(

Well.. As my dad has 9 siblings it is very difficult to find a day to have dinner or lunch, so every year we change the dates...
this year, in Christmas Night, some of my dad's siblings are comming to have dinner in my house.. as they are sleeping here so they can drink, I'll have dinner at my boyfriend's house and sleep there.. Then in Christmas day, the rest that didnt come the night before will come to my house and have lunch there. And on the 26th my mum's family will come to have lunch.
I enjoy every meal with my dad's family, because seeing my uncles and aunts a little bit pissed, is VERY funny. They only have to get a drink, a guitar, and you won't stop laughing until you go to sleep.
My mum's family is more boring, so I do like Mònica and go to my room with my boyfriend..

Well, I won't go out every single night.. only on Christmas night (because my boyfriend is working in a Pub in Carcaixent so I'll drink for free =P ) and then on New Year's eve.. But this year I'm staying in Beneixida, because as we are the "festeros" for next year, we're doing a "disco-mòvil". We're planning to go to Apache when our party ends... But I dont think anyone will be able to drive, so... I don't know where I'll finish that night!

And about Christmas Carols.. I only like singing them whit my dad's family because we just change the lyrics and make a funny song. Like last year, when my uncle forgot about the lyrics of "La Marimorena" And he just went.. "Los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, los pastores, anden, anden, anden, anden los pastores.." and like that for like 3 minutes.
So yeah, those are the Christmas Carols I actually sing. Lol

Well, We wish you a Marry Christmas,
We wish you a Marry Christmas,
We wish you a Marry Christmas,
And a Happy New Year. ^^
    Don't Drink too Much!!!
    Baaaaai!! xxxx

  5. Hi Michael!

Merry Xmas!! How are you?? are you enjoying yourself this holidays?? On Christmas night I went to my grandma's house, in Xativa, to have a dinner with the family. I talked a lot with my cousin Yasmina, I didn't see herfor two months or more. We were talking all the night and our grandma took us "les estrenes" XD The next day I went to ate with my other grandma, and yesterday to Xativa again!( a family Christmas) We ate "arròs en tanda", like every year, I don't like it... Yesterday I went with my friends to the cinema,, we wanted to watch Avatar in 3D but there weren't tickets and we bought for the normal version. Today probably we'll go to Xativa (again!!!) to see the fair. For Ney Year night we'll go to Victor's garage and I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves a lot!! =D

I hope you'll have fun this holidays!!

    Happy New Year!!!
